~Lessons~

~* LESSON DESCRIPTIONS *~

Level I: An introduction to horses. Learn to safely tie, groom, saddle, mount and ride a horse. Learn horse and tack parts. Learn to ride at the walk and trot.

Level IIa: The beginning rider (part 1). Continue to learn safe horse handling skills and terminology. Work on improving balance and posture. Introduce the canter.

Level IIb: The beginning rider (part 2). Continue to learn safe horse handling skills and terminology. Work on improving balance and posture. Introduce jumping.

Level III: The intermediate rider. Continue to learn general horse skills, improve natural aids, diagonals and leads, jumping higher and smoother; and manuevering at increasing speed.

*GROUP LESSONS START AT 5:30 PM AND END AT 7:00 PM

Each lesson is 1 & 1/2 hours long
in the arena or on the trail.
